A technical overview over our camera releases
Like all cable releases, mechanical camera releases consist of an operating part,
a guiding part and a release part - better known as handle piece, cable sheath and
end piece. Accessories (adaptors) widen the radius of action for complicated shots.
The
structure and material
of the sheath of the release significantly determine the possibilities of its use.
The more robust model. Instead of cloth, the release is sheathed with a shrunk-on
plastic coating. This makes it
more stable
in length and
more resistant
to humidity and mechanical impact. Available in
red,
black
and
white
in lengths between
25cm
to
100cm.
